Porn Star Sean Michaels is the most successful black man in hardcore history, a hard working stud who has parlayed a tireless production schedule into one of the longest-running carnal careers of any African-American performer. He's a well-muscled stud with a sly grin that lets audiences know that he's quite aware of just how good he's got it. Sean's boyish good looks have proven to be irresistible to porno starlets for well over a decade now, and there's no reason to suspect that he's planning to slow down anytime soon.

Sean Michaels was born Andre Allen in Brooklyn, New York on February 20, 1958. He moved out West in 1989, determined to break into the porn racket -- but little did he know what an impact he'd end up making. Sean's stellar woodsmanship got him noticed almost immediately, while his above-average acting skills enabled him to land roles that hadn't previously gone to black actors. Among his best early outings is 1991's 'Obsession,' where he and Zara Whites got down and dirty in a hot one, and 'Caught From Behind 14,' in which Sean joined Nina Hartley and Leilani for a raucous threesome.

Despite his undeniable success, Sean has run into racism in the industry, with many white actresses refusing to work with him. Sean's also been edited out of several vids by squeamish directors who were afraid to unleash such hardcore interracial lust on their audiences. For the most part, though, Sean has been a sexual trailblazer, proving that black men can make it big in mainstream hardcore. Without Sean Michaels, it's hard to imagine the crossover success of Mr. Marcus or Lexington Steele.

Sean continued his ultra-busy work schedule throughout the 90s. Among his best flicks is 'Nasty Nymphos 8,' where he joins Janet Jacme for a bodacious black-on-black blast. 'Private Film 14: Costa Rica Studies' is another stunner, with Sean taking on Vanessa Chase and Marilyn Martin in a hot one, then returning for more with Brittany O'Connell.

Sean moved behind the camera in 1993 to helm the 'Sean Michaels On The Road' series, and he showed a great eye and a knack for bringing the best out of his performers. Since then, Sean's efforts as a producer and director have kept him at the forefront of black-themed and interracial sexvids. His 'Up Your Ass' flicks are some of the hottest anal-themed flicks on the market, while his directing in features like 'In Loving Color 1' and 'Mac'in 1 and 02' has lifted the bar for black-centered productions.

In the late 90s, Sean formed his own production company, the appropriately titled Sean Michaels Productions. He's directed over 150 flicks so far, including every episode of the popular 'We Go Deep' and 'Naughty Wives Club' lines. Among his best directorial efforts is 'We Go Deep 1,' where he not only shoots a series of blistering oral segments, but also closes out the flick with a searing back door blast with Chloe. 'Up Your Ass 6' finds Sean in a torrid threesome with Inari Vachs and Vince Voyeur, and a scintillating session with Tricia Devereaux and Mr. Marcus.

The star of over 800 hardcore features and one of the most talented directors in the biz, Sean Michaels is deservedly the most famous black stud to ever appear in porn. He's a member of the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame and a two-time winner of the Fans Of X-Rated Entertainment Male Favorite Award. By any measure, Sean Michaels is one of the all-time greats among porn performers and directors.
